Seahawks Coach Barbara DelGallo inducted into Niagara University Athletics Hall of Fame

This coming weekend, our very own Seahawks Coach will be inducted, along with her team to the Niagara University Athletics Hall of Fame.  From the university's website:

"The 2001-02 women's ice hockey team advanced to the semifinals of the Frozen Four and tied Minnesota, 2-2, in the third-place game. The Purple Eagles went 26-8-2 overall and 19-2-0 in conference play and were the ECAC regular season champions. Niagara had an impressive home record, going 15-2 overall and 11-0 in conference in games played at Dwyer Arena. On the season, Niagara averaged 3.82 goals per game and allowed just 1.41 goals per game."

Coach DelGallo has given selflessly to the Seahawks program through her coaching and volunteering on the Board. She has had a positive impact on so many of our players over the years and we are proud to have her as part of the Seahawks Nation. From the words of on of our Seahawks parents -

"Not only is she an amazing person and coach, but truly and inspiration to all the players and especially all the young girls involved in the sport! She puts so much time in effort into being there and supporting our kids playing hockey, I feel lucky that my son has been able to be coached by her since day 1"

Please join us in congratulating Barbara on this amazing accomplishment! We are proud to have you be such an integral part of the Seahawks Nation!

Congratulations to former Seahawk Drew Commesso on being selected 46th by the Chicago Blackhawks in the 2020 NHL Draft
