Zero Tolerance Policy
The South Shore Seahawks will establish a Discipline Committee to investigate and conduct a hearing if appropriate, concerning any major incident involving a spectator or a parent. The Committee will be chaired by a member of the Executive Committee and will be made up of Board Members. A Major Incident will be defined as, but not limited to, the use of obscene or vulgar language, verbal or physical abuse, taunting of players, coaches or officials or throwing of objects on or off the ice at games or practices. When a Major Incident occurs and is brought to the attention of the Seahawks Board of Directors, the Discipline Committee will decide the course of action. If the incident was reported to the Conference, the Discipline Committee will communicate with the conference discipline committee before deciding the course of action. |
