Thrasher Game 3 Recap

Hingham - In their pregame meeting in the lockerroom - Sportsmanship and MUCH MORE Passing where the two main topics and those themes carried into their game against the Panthers. The Thrashers continue to impress as they displayed some fantastic passing and sound defense in the game verse the high flying Panthers team. The Thrashers got on the board early when Michael Ryan feathered a perfect pass to Drew Commesso who netted a quick wrist shot and it didnt stop there for Drew and his teammates.... The team was led by the precision passing of Drew Hurley, Hayden McCarthy and Casey Messina. Ryan MacDermott made the defensive play of the game as he rushed back into the defensive end and broke up a break away by a Panthers player. John Joseph and Matt Kirslis played incredible defense throughout the game to keep the powerful Panthers from getting too many scoring chances. Luke Norton added to the scoring midway thru the game when he fired a rebound past the sprawling Panther goaltender. Owen Thomas was spectacular in net, turning away several tough shots from the Panther offense. JQ Condon played an excellent two way game for the Thrashers with several great passes to set up a few  great goals. The teams #1 goal was to play as a team and make more passes - which they did! The Thrashers look forward to even more improvement over the next few weeks in time for their next big matchup. Coach MacDermott and Coach Joseph had the players organized and assigned to a position when they hit the ice! The kids knew their positions and played remarkably well "This team is really focused, they work hard at practice yet have a lot of fun - they listen and the learn - you cant ask for anything more. They give 100% and are respectful of their teammates and their opponents and thats all a coaching staff can ask for" said coach John Commesso after the game. ..."the best is yet to come with this team".
