Hingham, MA - Before a sold out Pilgrim Rink in Hingham, the South Shore Thrashers began the 2008-2009 season against the Wild this past Saturday. Enduring weeks of hard Tuesday night skill practices and early morning Sunday scrimmage games - the Thrashers transferred all that hard work into a great team effort on Saturday. The fans were going crazy as they witnessed fantastic goals by Drew Hurley, Owen Thomas, Ryan MacDermott and Michael Ryan....impressive passing from forwards Cole Berglund and Gerald Mclarnon....tight defense from Drew Commesso, Jackson Mclarnon, Drew Casagrande, John Joseph and spectacular goaltending from Luke Norton. The team looks forward to continued improvement in their upcoming games. After congratulating the Wild on a great game the entire Thrasher team raised their sticks in the air to thank their parents and fans for all their support. Stay tuned - it should will be an exciting and fun season!
